Notes - Linking Story Elements

Notes can be linked to Books, Characters, Places, and Tags for organization and filtering purposes. This article shows how this works on Plottr for Desktop and Web.

Linking Story Elements to Notes

To link Books, Characters, Places, and Tags with Notes:

1. Click on the Note you wish to link with an element
2. Hover over the word "Books," "Characters", "Places", or "Tags" and click the plus (+) button that appears
3. Click on the element you wish to link with the Note

Unlinking Story Elements from Notes

To unlink Books, Characters, Places, and Tags from Notes:

1. Click on the Note you wish to unlink from an element
2. Hover over the Book, Character, Place or Tag you wish to unlink and click the "X" button that appears
